Summer Camp Medications - PLEASE READ

Any prescription medications that you put on your camp forms (NOT the troop "Over the Counter" form) will need to be turned into the Health Lodge on our first day of camp (Sunday). Keep these medications with you in your day pack in the original packaging with label so that you can hand these in to the camp. It will be YOUR responsibility to know when you need to go to the Health Lodge to take these medications. When you go, you must take a buddy with you (no scout goes anywhere alone).

If you have an "Over the Counter" (OTC) medication that you take "as needed" (like Zyrtec), you should have listed that on the troop OTC Medication Form. You will hand those those medications in on Sunday morning to Mr. Mendoza. They should be in the original packaging, with instructions, and with the scout's name on it. We will keep those medications in a safe location in camp.

If you have an EpiPen or Inhaler for food allergies or asthma, that should be listed on the camp forms as well. You must carry the EpiPen with you wherever you go. You can keep extras back in camp. On Sunday, the Health Lodge may ask to see your EpiPen, so make sure you have it handy.

If there's been any change in your medications, put that in writing (two copies), and see Mr. Mendoza upon arrival.
